Actor's Access is a database where you can submit yourself on projects. It costs money but there are varying plans. It's a great way to get started with some non union gigs and fringe type projects. You won't be getting breakdowns for the big tv/film/theater stuff, but you'll get worthwhile projects.
Backstage.comis a highly respected newsletter and place to go look for auditions. To get access to the audition listings, it costs money but if you are starting out and want the info, it's worth it for the $12/month (if you go yearly) membership.
InternMatch where to find internships in the arts, well updated and maintained.
Playbill look for auditions, look up the latest news in theater, and they've got great rush / student ticket policy lists.
